Our visit to Muhimbili National Hospital’s MOI unit for children with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus was an emotional yet inspiring experience. These children, battling lifelong medical conditions, face daily challenges that many of us take for granted. We brought what little we could—packet milk, sanitary pads, diapers, soap, and sugar—to provide some comfort during their treatment. But the most impactful moments came when we sat down with the parents of these brave children. Listening to their stories, we realized that while our material support is important, the emotional support they need cannot be understated.
As one mother told us, “Your presence gives us the strength to continue this journey.” It’s moments like these that remind us of the deep human connection that drives our charitable work. We aim to continue supporting these families, not just with material goods, but with encouragement and compassion.
Consider donating to help us provide ongoing support to children with medical needs at Muhimbili National Hospital.
